| Professor Krishna Rajan from Iowa State University, Ames, USA Professor Rajan is one of the pioneers of the still new and emerging field of Materials Informatics. This field involves the application of statistical learning and other informatics techniques to a broad range of materials-science problems. During his stay in Germany, Professor Rajan will work on advancing his methods also considering complementary approaches for statistical learning developed in Berlin. Professor Rajan is hosted by Professor Matthias Robert Scheffler at the Fritz-Haber-Institute in Berlin. |
