| Professor Mark Colyvan is an internationally-renowned philosopher who has made influential contributions to a broad range of topics both within philosophy and beyond. He is especially known for his use of formal mathematical methods in advancing both philosophy and biology. During his stay in Germany, Professor Colyvan will mainly work on mathematical explanations as well as on philosophical problems concerning biological laws, analogies and allometries. |
