Nominator's project description

Professor Liu is an internationally recognized expert in the area of synthetic main group chemistry. He has made important contributions to the development of boron(B)-nitrogen(N)-containing heterocycles, specifically azaborines. His synthetic approach significantly expands the chemical space for exploration in biomedical research and materials science. In Germany, he is continuing research on the basic science of the synthesis and characterization of novel boron-nitrogen containing heterocyclic structures.
