Nominator's project description

Professor Grushevsky is an internationally leading mathematician who works in algebraic geometry. He is particularly well known for his achievements in the theory of theta functions and abelian varieties. His work on string amplitudes has not only had a major impact on mathematics but also on theoretical physics. During his stay in Germany Professor Grushevsky will pursue his research on moduli spaces of abelian varieties as well as super Riemann surfaces and Teichmüller curves.
