Nominator's project description
| Professor Naumov is an internationally recognized researcher in the field of solid state chemistry and materials science. In his early career he performed thorough investigations on molecular photochromic and thermochromic systems, developing cutting-edge photo-crystallographic techniques. Recently, he pioneered research on thermosalient and photosalient materials, colloquially known as jumping crystals, which present a novel platform for clean energy conversion. Professor Naumov is also known after his noteworthy results on the luceferin photochemistry, as well as for his research in the solid state chemistry of pharmaceutics. In Germany, he continues his investigations using powder crystallography. |
