Nominator's project description
| Professor Grillo is a leading scientist working on theoretical and experimental aspects of advanced transmission electron microscopy. He has developed new methods for the quantification of image contrast and has provided important insight into holographic shaping and spin manipulation of high energy electron beams. During his stay in Germany, he will work on the use of holographic phase plates, magnetic fields and electron-light interactions to manipulate the electron quantum state in the transmission electron microscopy. |
