Nominator's project description
| Professor Bhargava is a pioneer and a visionary leader in the area of wireless communications. He made fundamental contributions to the design and implementation of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing systems – a technology which is used by all of today’s wireless local area networks and 4G mobile communication systems. Furthermore, he pioneered the mathematical modelling and performance analysis of wireless communication systems. In Germany, Professor Bhargava will investigate techniques for improving the throughput and energy-efficiency of next generation mobile communication systems. |
