Nominator's project description
| Professor Jorio is a leading researcher in the area of inelastic light scattering and the optical properties of nanomaterials. He is recognized internationally as a key player in pushing the field of nanooptics beyond its long-standing limits in sensitivity and resolution. During his stay in Germany he will work on understanding the fundamental processes that give rise to plasmon- and near-field enhanced optical excitations in nanostructures. |
