Nominator's project description

Professor Jarrahi is well known internationally for her significant contributions to the development of novel technologies for terahertz/millimeter-wave sensing, imaging, computing and communication systems. Her research in innovative plasmonic and optical concepts has a tremendous impact on future applications in chemical sensing, security screening, medical imaging and diagnostics systems. During her stay in Germany, she focuses on nanorobotic-based scanning electron and microwave microscopy.
