Nominator's project description
| Professor Barnett is well known internationally for his outstanding research in agricultural risk management. He has made important contributions to the design and the pricing of crop insurance and index based weather insurance. During his stay in Germany, he will conduct collaborative research that focuses on risk assessment and the evaluation of alternative crop insurance designs in Germany and other EU member states. |
