Nominator's project description
| Professor Roman Frigg is a world-leading philosopher who made influential contributions to a broad range of topics in general philosophy of science and in philosophy of physics, and whose work had an impact on neighbouring disciplines, in particular physics, earth science and climate science. Prof. Frigg is especially renowned for his careful and sophisticated analysis of scientific knowledge, which has advanced both philosophy and physics. During his stay in Germany he intends to intensify scientific contacts with research groups in his field, also through lectures. |
