Nominator's project description
| Professor Steffen Lauritzen is internationally recognised for his outstanding and pioneering research on "Graphical Models". He applies his highly innovative methods to a variety of areas of these models, which describe interrelationships between a potentially large number of variables through a mathematical graph. During his stay in Germany he will focus on research on graphical models for networks with focus on risk assessment collaborating with colleagues in biology, computer science, and the engineering sciences. |
