Nominator's project description
Professor Myneni is well known internationally for his outstanding achievements in terrestrial remote sensing and ecosystem research. His pioneering study on a long-term increasing trend in plant growth in the northern high latitudes had a strong impact on the biospheric community. During his stay in Germany, he intends to combine intense analysis of the most recent remote sensing date streams with vegetation and carbon cycle modelling. |
