Nominator's project description
Professor Rees is a philosopher who works at the intersection of philoso-phy, biology and technology. In his work, he has paved a new narrative for our general understanding of biology, focusing on the philosophical quality of microbiome research. Microbiome research is concerned with microbes, not with humans. And yet, microbiome research significantly rewrites our understanding of ourselves. During his stay in Germany, Professor Rees continues his research on this philosophical quality of microbiome re-search. |
