Nominator's project description

Professor Pauer-Studer is internationally recognized for her outstanding research in moral, political and legal philosophy, particularly for her interdisciplinary work on law under National Socialism. She has made innovative contributions to the contemporary reception of Kant and Hume and to our understanding of group agency. In Germany, she will continue her research on “Group Agency and Relational Morality” exploring ethically meaningful normative relations between the members of small-scale intimate groups (such as the family) and between members of larger social groups as well as formally structured group agents
