Nominator's project description
| Professor Akinwande is well known internationally for his contributions to the field of nanoelectronics. He is widely regarded as a leading researcher in flexible electronics based on low-dimensional materials such as carbon nanotubes and graphene. His work on flexible two-dimensional semiconductors demonstrates highest electronic performance and mechanical robustness. In Germany, Professor Akinwande intends to combine the areas of flexible electronics and optoelectronics. |
