Nominator's project description
| Professor Ostvaer is an internationally recognized expert in motivic homo-topy theory, a new field of mathematics uniting topology, algebra and geometry. He has made important contributions to the study of Hermitian K-theory, equivariant motivic cohomology and the motivic stable stems. In Germany, Professor Ostvaer will work on equivariant motivic homotopy theory and computations of motivic stable stems. |
