Nominator's project description
Professor Zwier is well known for his highly selective gas phase investigations on how molecules change their shape and function under the influence of ultrafast cooling and tailored laser irradiation. His innovative tools have provided unprecedented insights into the energy landscapes and dynamics of important model systems in the life sciences, astrochemistry, and combustion research. During his stay in Germany, he will collaborate with several groups using complementary techniques towards a deeper understanding of molecular shape and motion. |
