Nominator's project description
| Professor Tserkovnyak is a leading expert in the fields of spintronics and non-equilibrium magnetism. He has made seminal contributions to the studies of spin transport and dynamics in magnetic nanostructures, quantum transport in low-dimensional correlated electron systems, and related topological properties. His more recent research concerns heat-driven emergent dynamics, bosonic condensation, and spin superfluidity in magnetic insulators. During his stay in Germany, his research will focus on antiferromagnets and broader classes of quantum spin materials. |
