Nominator's project description
| Professor Seebacher is an international authority on research that links physiological mechanisms and ecological processes, with emphasis on evolutionary patterns of plasticity in variable environments. He recently demonstrated that phenotypic plasticity can buffer individuals from the effects of climate change. In Germany, he will work on physiological differences between individuals and their implication for social behaviour, and focus on the effects of diet-induced obesity. |
