Nominator's project description
| Dr. Bibes is internationally recognized for his seminal work on multiferroics with a focus on thin film materials physics and device manifestations, in particular spintronics. He has made numerous contributions to magnetism, particularly to fundamental aspects of magnetotransport in complex oxides, and has discovered giant electroresistance in ferroelectric tunnel junctions. In Germany, he will work on noncollinear spintextures at oxide interfaces. |
