Nominator's project description
| Dr. Dumeige is a leader in modern optical physics with scientific interests in nonlinear optics, quantum nanophotonics, microcavity physics, all-optical signal processing, optical materials, quantum sensing based on the nitrogen-vacancy color centers in diamond and others. In Germany, he will develop microcavity based optical magnetometers with unprecedented combination of sensitivity, bandwidth and compact size. This will enable integrated devices important in applications in biomedical diagnostics and materials sciences. |
