Nominator's project description
| Professor McNally is an internationally renowned scholar, who has made groundbreaking contributions to linguistic theory in general and semantics and its interfaces in particular. Her work has been pioneering in reaching a better understanding of the interactions between the semantic contributions that different words in a phrase or sentence make to the meaning of that phrase or sentence as a whole. In Germany, she plans to collaborate with linguists working on the syntax-morphology interface. |
