Nominator's project description
| Professor Sigman is a leading figure at the intersection of synthetic organic and physical organic chemistry with particular relevance to asymmetric catalysis. His laboratory introduced several physical organic tools to guide ligand and catalyst design, thereby enabling the prediction of reaction outcomes through virtual screening of ligand libraries. During his stay in Germany, he will engage in the application of those techniques to further synthetic and mechanistic problems. |
