Nominator's project description
| Professor Campillo is a worldwide leading seismologist who has developed new passive methods to image the Earth interior and to monitor the temporal variations of the mechanical properties related to tectonic deformations. His new ideas and methods had a tremendous impact in the Earth Science community. During his stay in Germany, he will analyse the slight temporal variations of fault zones which may potentially be associated to the nucleation of earthquakes ruptures. |
