Nominator's project description

Professor Kumagai is a leading expert in the analysis of stochastic processes on irregular structures. He has made fundamental contributions to the theory of diffusion on fractals, random walks on random graphs and the analysis of non-local operators, anomalous diffusion and critical phenomena. During his stay in Germany, he intends to study scaling limits of processes in random media.
