Nominator's project description
| Professor Mittleman is a highly recognized scholar in the science and technology of terahertz radiation. He has discovered numerous important effects and techniques for exploiting terahertz radiation in spectroscopy, sensing, and imaging applications. The field has experienced an extremely rapid growth since the early 1990s by the first demonstrations of the unique imaging capabilities, in which Professor Mittleman was a key participant. During his stay in Germany, he will work in the field of terahertz tomography using a robotic arm. |
