Professor Clark is a leading scholar at the interface of ecological and statistical science. His work in global change ecology has helped to transform ecology from a descriptive to a predictive science. He has extensive experience designing large, multidisciplinary projects that exploit complex ecological data sets. During his stay in Germany, Professor Clark will advance the field of biodiversity forecasting, with the aim of generating continuously updated forecasts of species responses to climatic change.
