Nominator's project description
| Professor Herz is an international authority in the field of fundamental light harvesting and energy conversion pathways in semiconducting materials. Her work has contributed greatly to our understanding of new semiconductors, nanostructures and pi-conjugated molecules. Such systems are fascinating from a fundamental scientific point of view, but also form crucial ingredients in applications such as solar cells, light-emitting devices, and sensors. During her stay in Germany, she will continue her research on hybrid metal halide perovskites. |
