Nominator's project description
| Professor Chapman is a leading researcher in the field of fundamental and applied chemical thermodynamics. His significant contributions include new thermodynamic models for phase behavior of complex fluids and interfacial properties, relevant for both industry and academia. In Germany Professor Chapman will broaden the application of molecular simulation and density functional theory to self-assembly of complex fluids and description of mixed electrolytes, which is one of the most significant problems of modern thermodynamics. |
