Nominator's project description

Professor Haboud is internationally well known for her innovative research on minority and Amerindian languages, especially in Ecuador. In her interdisciplinary approach she has developed with an enormous success innovative methodological tools in language documentation, applied language policies as well as in language teaching in the area of intercultural bilingual education for indigenous communities in Ecuador. During her stay in Germany she will continue to develop this methodology for other minority language contexts.
