Nominator's project description
| Professor Bender is a leading international authority in mathematical physics. He has made major contributions to the fields of asymptotics, differential equations, perturbative and nonperturbative methods, complex variables, and has pioneered the field of parity-time (PT) symmetry in quantum systems, impacting also broad areas of experimental physics. During his stay in Germany, he will continue his research on PT symmetry. |
