Professor Singh is well known internationally for his outstanding research in microbial ecology and the appreciation of microbial diversity for the functioning of terrestrial ecosystems. Professor Singh combines basic and applied research to foster sustainable development, environmental protection and food security. During his stay in Germany, he intends to study the global distribution, drivers, risks and functional role of soil biodiversity. |
