Nominator's project description
| Professor Grossmann is internationally renowned for his groundbreaking research on human wisdom, cultural evolution, and societal forecasting, integrating approaches from cognitive psychology, computational modeling, and big-team science. His work has transformed the study of wise reasoning by showing how intellectual humility, cultural context, and metacognitive calibration improve judgment under uncertainty. During his stay in Germany, he will continue to work on a cognitive architecture of wisdom and cultural determinants of reasoning and judgement processes. |
