Professor Armus is a leading historian of Latin American history. He has made internationally recognised and prize-winning contributions in the field of the history of health. His work has connected social and cultural history in an innovative manner. During his stay in Germany, Professor Armus focuses on the Latin American dimension of the history of global pandemics.
