Nominator's project description
| Professor Bradatan is internationally well known for his outstanding research in ancient, early modern and contemporary philosophy. His studies in comparative literature engage questions such as how philosophers died for their ideas and how fiction and reality blend in diaries as well as topics such as the ancient phenomenon of cynicism and the philosophical perspectives of film. And they display important contributions to the field of contemporary transdisciplinary research. During his stay in Germany, he intends to deepen his research on cynicism and humility, both as philosophical modes of life from ancient and medieval times from which we can lean in present times. |
