Nominator's project description
| Professor Tauxe stands at the forefront of research dedicated to geomagnetism and paleomagnetism, specifically concerning the geometry and intensity of Earth’s field in the geologic past. She has produced innovative methodology in paleomagnetism and has used paleomagnetic data to solve a wide range of geological problems. In Germany, she focuses on further understanding magnetic remanence acquisition processes in sediments. |
