Nominator's project description
| Professor Nakajima is a worldwide leading chemist in the nano sciences through his work on multidecker sandwich structures with unexpected magnetic and chiral features for potential use in magnetochemistry and in asymmetric catalysis. He mastered the soft-landing of doped silicon nano particles and a direct liquid embedding method. He managed to produce and characterize “superatom” like aluminium cluster salts, and he found a stabilization of excited states on self-assembled mono layers. In Germany, he will continue working on these topics with his cooperation partners. |
