Nominator's project description
| Professor Nyman is a world-leading expert in metal oxo cluster chemistry. Her seminal contributions to molecular metal oxide chemistry have reshaped the field and have led to new classes of molecular metal oxides which are now used widely in fundamental and applied research. She provided in-depth understanding of the complex solution chemistry of metal oxo species, which is relevant, for example in environmental science, biochemistry, nuclear waste remediation and energy storage. During her stay in Germany, she focuses on the synthesis and reactivity of mixed-metal molecular metal oxides. |
