Nominator's project description
| Professor Lacetera is an international authority in the fields of economic and social policy and political economy. He has made important contributions to issues such as the supply of organs and blood for transplantation and transfusion, the impact of psychological biases in the operating of high-stake markets, and the social support of ethically contentious market transactions. Professor Lacetera combines his methodological syncretism with a fine sense for finding research topics with policy relevance and social impact. During his stay in Germany, he focuses on the behavioural determinants of economic decision making and its implications for the design of institutions. |
