Nominator's project description

Professor Tei-Wei Kuo is well known internationally for his outstanding research in real-time embedded systems and cyber-physical systems. He has made important contributions to both theory hardware and software practice. He is recognized as a pioneer in system and software designs of non-volatile memory and has made significant contributions to scheduling algorithms and efficient tests of real-time embedded systems. During his stay in Germany, he intends to elaborate research topics related to timing-predictable learning and inferencing at the edge with elegant resource managements of distributed systems, memory architectures, and software stacks.
