Nominator's project description

Professor Khanin is a world leading expert in the theory of dynamical systems and mathematical physics. He has made outstanding contributions to such areas as the theory of dynamical systems, ergodic theory, statistical mechanics, cosmology and turbulence theory. In Germany, Professor Khanin will continue work in the field of the theory of infinite dimensional dynamical systems related to deterministic and stochastic PDEs.
