Nominator's project description
| Professor Meyer is best known internationally for his research on photochemistry and electron transfer at semiconducting interfaces. By viewing fundamental aspects through a critical lens, he constantly challenges the status quo and the limits of existing theories while capitalizing on critical advances that impact fundamental energy science. His stay in Germany will contribute to the enhancement of the existing research efforts towards solar water splitting into molecular hydrogen and oxygen. |
