Nominator's project description
| Professor Ameloot is internationally well known for his pioneering research bridging the materials chemistry of metal-organic frameworks with the world of microelectronics. He has made seminal contributions to controlling the growth and patterning of metal-organic frameworks on surfaces by developing chemical gas-phase deposition techniques, that match the needs of integrating the new materials into device fabrication lines. In Germany, he intends to collaborate with various groups on that topic, focusing, for example, on electrically conductive coordination polymer thin films. |
