Nominator's project description

Professor Ulitsky has contributed substantially to a better understanding of the fascinating biology of long non-coding RNAs and of RNA localization in cells. By combining experimental studies with computational tools, he has been able to tackle particularly challenging topics. In Germany, Professor Ulitsky is focusing on the development of computational methods for studying the evolution and functions of long RNA genes and their manifestation in their sequences.
