| Professor Horty is well known internationally for his work in philosophical logic and artificial intelligence. He has made seminal contributions to the formal study of reasoning, including a highly influential analysis of reasons as default rules. During his stay in Germany, he will focus on models of normative reasoning in ethics, law and artificial intelligence. |
