Nominator's project description
| Professor Hahmann is an internationally leading researcher in computer graphics. She is particularly interested in geometric modeling of free-form shapes for the creation of 3D geometric content for the real or virtual world. She has made important contributions to the areas of high-level models for 3D shapes, animation, and multiresolution methods. In Germany, she will focus on sketch-based modeling and fabrication-aware computational design, two brand new trends in computer graphics. |
