Nominator's project description

Professor Agapie is world-renowned for his numerous contributions to inorganic, organometallic and bioinorganic chemistry. His group couples challenging synthetic design with detailed mechanistic studies that have contributed greatly to understanding fundamental structure function relations in homogeneous catalysis. During his stay in Germany, he intends to develop a mechanistic level understanding of immobilized molecular catalysts for CO2 to liquid fuel conversion.
