Nominator's project description
Professor Martin is an internationally renowned expert in geometric analysis. He has made fundamental contributions, particularly to conformal geometry, quasi-conformal mappings, elliptic partial differential equations, hyperbolic geometry, and discrete groups. In Germany, he plans to focus on the interplay between holomorphic dynamics and the geometry of one complex dimensional moduli spaces of Riemann surfaces. He is hosted by Professor Walter Bergweiler at the University of Kiel. |
