Nominator's project description

Professor Miard-Delacroix is internationally well known for her outstanding research on the history of international relations and of Franco-German relations. She combines a large variety of empirical research with the theoretical conceptualization of international history. Thus, she has made important contributions to the entangled history of France and Germany in the 20th century and to the history of emotions in international politics. Moreover, she has distinguished herself by disseminating her deep understanding of German history and politics in the French media. During her stay in Germany, she intends to complete a major comparative study on the emotional regimes during the crucial years of 1989 and 1990
